The bottle of Umbria olive oil is an EVO, extra virgin oil, with the certification of organic product. Our Il Moraiolo oil is a special product and made at km0 in all its stages.

Umbria olive oil production km 0

Production begins from our own olive groves located in Campello sul Clitunno. We have exclusively olive groves with “moraiolo” type olives and all are owned by the Giordano Fortunati farm.

The farm takes care of the olive harvest in an absolutely manual and non-mechanized manner, treating the olives with the utmost care. The harvest period is from October to December, of each year.

Next, the product (olives) are transported a few meters to the olive mill, where the product undergoes cold extraction.

Cold extraction allows the organoleptic properties of our olives to be left virtually unaltered to give the organic oil a strong, pungent taste.

 

Use in the kitchen

The consumption and tasting of real Umbria olive oil is at its best when the product is used raw, whether to season your cold dishes, such as summer salads, or winter dishes such as soups, or to maximize the flavor of a product linked to the territory such as baked mushrooms.

Ideas for the most correct purchase

For those who wish to create a small gift, which is of course always appreciated, it is also available in the 0.25 ml or 0.5 l version, and for those who have already tried our product and would like to have a package for family use, we can recommend the 3 l can or the 5 l version, having excellent value for money.
